SPT Shiksha: Bridging the Education Gap with Free Learning

The Education Crisis

India's education system, despite significant progress, still leaves millions of children behind. In Mumbai alone, over 2.5 lakh children are estimated to be out of school or receiving substandard education. The reasons are complex — poverty, lack of infrastructure, family pressures, and limited access to quality teachers.

What Is SPT Shiksha?

SPT Shiksha is the flagship education initiative of Sarwar Peace Trust. It provides completely free quality education to children from underprivileged backgrounds. Our program includes after-school tuition for classes 1 through 10, free distribution of textbooks and stationery, computer literacy and digital skills training, and personalised mentorship and career guidance.

Our Learning Centres

Currently, SPT Shiksha operates three active learning centres in Mumbai, staffed by 15+ volunteer teachers and educators. Each centre is designed to be a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, ask questions, and grow. We maintain small batch sizes to ensure every child receives individual attention.

The Road Ahead

We aim to expand to 10 centres by 2028, reaching over 1,000 children. With your support, we can open new centres, hire more teachers, and provide digital devices for online learning. Support SPT Shiksha
