4. Payment & Donation Data
All online payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway. When you donate:
- You are redirected to Razorpay's secure checkout environment.
- Your card, UPI, or net-banking credentials are entered directly on Razorpay's platform — we never see or store these details.
- We receive only a payment confirmation ID and the amount to generate your receipt.
PAN Number: If you provide your PAN for an 80G certificate, it is stored securely solely for the purpose of issuing a valid tax receipt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
Donation records (name, amount, date) are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by law for audit and compliance purposes.
